Rael Kōiv is an Estonian-born composer and pianist. She holds a strong vision in her music, where her passion for piano meets her love for nature.

​She has studied music composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, and in England, at the University for the Creative Arts.

​Rael's piano playing style takes elements from minimalism and has a cinematic feel. Her compositions can vary from solo piano to string quartet or expand to extensive orchestral scores merged with sounds from nature.

​Music is Rael's compass in this life – always pointing to new horizons, yet keeping her centre. "Becoming only a tool for music to come to life, dissolving the persona into the creation – that's my intention."
